Jeep is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and to commemorate the special event, a unique World War II themed Jeep Wrangler is making its run down the Toledo assembly line. The one-off model will be shown to the public at Jeep's 75th Anniversary event.

Mike Manely said: "We are creating this unique Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute concept vehicle in celebration of the brand's legendary history, and to demonstrate that 75 years later, today's iconic Jeep Wrangler is instantly recognizable and clearly connected to the original Willys MB,"

The vehicle is based on the 2016 Jeep Wrangler, which workers at the Toledo plant will paint olive drab green. They will then install special WW2 era seats, custom bumpers, and an authentic rear-mounted spare tire. Special badges and hood latches will also be added to complete the look. The exciting model will be on display on August 13th in the downtown Toledo Jeep car show, where there will also be a Jeep parade and a screening of vintage Jeep films.
